TAKE ACTION

Misleading advertising is enabling ExxonMobil to portray itself as
environmentally responsible while funding think tanks and climate-sceptic scientists who are denying and trivialising climate change.
For example, ceiling-high ads along the length of walkways at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) claim ExxonMobil are reducing their greenhouse gas emissions when in reality the oil giant’s emissions are on the increase. ExxonMobil’s emissions went up by 8.7 million metric tons between 2003 and 2006. And this is only one example of ExxonMobil’s deliberately misleading advertising campaign! [Click here to learn more]
